Off the Wall: Michelle Bachmann Addresses the Egyptian People
Talk about meddling in foreign affairs. Michelle Bachmann, Steve King and Louie Gohmert address the Egyptian people!. Note: After the Egyptian anchor introduces them, Bachmann, King and Gohmert speak in English.
Bwahahahaha! That's her favorite line (seriously, she's used it over and over). For who? Oh right, "we can speak for ourselves". "We remember", "we're here as partners". Right, right.
Is it just me, or are politicians like the worst B-movie actors that you've ever seen in your life? The main difference is that most people don't recall being bombed or ruled by a rascally group of struggling actors.
The "Q&A session" was particularly funny. The ego of the central planners is something to behold, they know no boundaries both literally and figuratively.
I think the most interesting part of their communique/propaganda was King's statement about funding/supporting their military.
If I'm an Egyptian I've got be thinking, "Would everyone just leave us/me alone?"
The irony of the US "democracy" funding the Egyptian military that is responsible for governing unilaterally is pretty rich.

Btw Bachmann, more "Mises on the beach" and less everything else please.
Wow, she told the Egyptian people they used free and democratic elections to vote in a terrorist. Nothing about the U.S.'s supported for heavy handed Hosni Mubarek, much less our giving him $50 million for a "private foundation."
"window of opportunity"

ReplyDeleteWe bring you the American Chamber of Commerce, said Rep. Steve King.
ReplyDeleteOdd to hear these three stress liberty, when they've decimated that via an intrusive surveillance state. They've instituted tyranny.
Michele's assertion that we remember who caused 9-11 was laughable. Yes, Egyptian torture played a role, but it was mostly Saudi citizens.
Note they all cited the Egyptian President, but none mentioned his name. All paid homage to the coup instituting General.
Even the Q&A seemed fake and staged.
I didn't watch the video. I thought Gohmert had some libertarian leanings.
ReplyDeleteThey are "Subversives" and should be arrested and imprisoned as such!
