Former Ron Paul Campaign 2012 Aide Linked to Secret Consulting Gig with Mitch McConnell

Folks it is only going to get worse from here, brace yourself. This is just tiny tip of the iceberg stuff.

OpenSecrets.org writes:
The campaign of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) hired a former Ron Paul campaign aide accused of trying to buy the endorsement of an Iowa state senator in 2012, according to reports filed with the Federal Election Commission. The aide, Dimitri Kesari, was also implicated in allegations made last week by a former National Right to Work Committee employee who says the politically active nonprofit broke Iowa state campaign finance rules and misled the Internal Revenue Service about its political activity.

An OpenSecrets.org review of FEC filings made by McConnell's campaign found that it has paid a company called Hyllus Corp. $61,954 so far in 2013.

Read the rest here.

The question that has to be asked is why McConnell campaign manager Jesse Benton and Kesari chose to make the payments to Kesari via a back chanel? Was it to hide the payment beneficiary, Kesari, from McConnell or, perhaps, Benton and Kesari determined that Kesari was to "hot" because of his link to the Kent Sorenson payoff scandal?

Is there more to come? Sources tell me much more.

  1. What are we surprised elections are corrupt?

    1. The Ron Paul campaign is corrupt, not the election. Election was fine. That's why Ron Paul lost.

  2. No one care. Ron and Rand > wenzel

  3. Jesse Benton drips slime
