Fans Of Controversial 'Duck Dynasty' Star Plan 'Chick-Phil-A-Day' At The Famously Conservative Chicken Chain

Business Insider reports:
An inspired conservative organizer has dreamed up "Chick-Phil-A Day," a movement to combine the Christian right's support of suspended "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson with its love for famously conservative fast-food chain Chick-fil-A.
With the tagline "Stand For Free Speech. Sit For Good Food," Chick-Phil-A Day encourages participants to wear Robertson's Duck Commander-branded clothing to a Chick-fil-A on Jan. 21.
The event will serve as a protest of the A&E's decision to indefinitely suspend Robertson from appearing on his reality television show after he made anti-gay and racist remarks in an interview with GQ Magazine.

  1. OK, let's not over do it.

I better idea to support Phil and other controversial figures:
    1. Stop whining
    2. Ignore the whiners
    3. Stop watching T.V. and pick up a freaking book

    1. Pretty much this, I also kinda find it funny how A and E all of a sudden became a government. At least in the minds of conservatives and other right-leaning statists.

  3. Gay guy here, but if can get a free sandwich I'll borrow some camos and go!

Who cares what he said? I know a lot more offensive things have been said about gays, but I'll never join a lynch mob. Live and let live, eh?

He never said that gays should be stoned, or called for violence, so why should we care?

  4. For the umpteenth time, this is not a free speech issue.

  5. In a related story, A&E has announced the Phil-lays-a-chick-day. A&E spokesman, Dickwaad Inane, announced the programming change at a media event in Hollywood. "We are convinced that this is the content American families want. It will saddle us with an" X" rating, but what the hell, the whole family is watching porn anyway, this way they can do it together in the same room. After all, we are the Arts AND Entertainment Channel, and if that's not entertainment, my name's not Dickwaad."
