Bitcoin Center NYC to Hold Meetings on Tuesday & Wednesday Following NYS Hearings

Bitcoin Center NYC, dedicated to further adoption of Bitcoin, has announced  that it is holding meetings following next week’s New York State Department of Financial Services hearing on virtual currencies.
The center is inviting all participants, observers, and media interested in the hearing to its 40 Broad Street headquarters to share their reactions and for a fallout discussion.

The post-hearing meetings will take place on both hearing days: Tuesday, January 28th and Wednesday the 29th.  The time on both days is immediately following the hearing adjournment.

“The state Department of Financial Services hearings on virtual currencies are an important part of the global conversation happening about Bitcoin and its peers,” said James V. Barcia, Communications Director for Bitcoin Center NYC.  “We’re inviting all stakeholders in the fate of Bitcoin to further explore the issues raised at the hearing, and to increase fellowship among Bitcoin adopters and future adopters.”

All guests of Bitcoin Center NYC will be required to sign in at the meetings.
