Even More ObamaCare Regs Coming

The Obama administration is busy drafting more regulationsthat are required by the Affordable Care Act, a new government report finds, reports The Hill.

The Congressional Research Service identified some 43 proposed and final rules related to the landmark healthcare law that are now under construction at various agencies and are on track to be issued within the next 12 months.

An additional 13 long-term rules are making their way through the regulatory pipeline but will not be finalized in 2014, according to the report.

  1. Regulations clarify the law and explain how to comply with the law. They remove uncertainty which reduces the burden laws place on society. Compare tax code and treasury regulations to see how it's done.

    1. So the laws are a burden on society, not a benefit. Thanks for the clarification.

    2. Citing the federal tax code as an example of clarification! Jerry, you're a hoot! Got any other one-liners? I could use a laugh.

    3. Damnit.....I was only through page 1,245 of the law so far. Hopefully these regs will make things better, so it's just really depressing.

    4. Translation: Someone makes some shit up that benefits him and everyone else has to do it... What a crock!

[What is there about "NO" you don't understand???]

  2. Pile them on! The sooner they do, the sooner it sinks!
