Roger Stone's Amazing 2016 Presidential Race Forecast

Yesterday, I briefly posted this tweet from political operative Roger Stone:

A couple of friends and a commenter suggested to me that Roger was joking, so I took the post down until I was able to get in touch with Roger. This is what he emailed me, when I asked him if it was some kind of joke:

No.
You should re-post.
Hillary won't run. Health and other issues.
Obama won't relinquish power-
Michelle will run.
You heard it here first.
R.

  1. Awesome.

I predict if Stone is right, it will be the most epic fail in election history.

  2. i think this could easily happen - after the 100% and higher percentage turnouts for obama in areas with the 2012 election i think the dems have the voter fraud process down pat so they could put BO the dog in and win the election.

    1. Seriously? Ben "Deregulation Caused the Meltdown" Carson? The guy that wants gun bans in cities? The guy who wants to increase regulations on catastrophic insurance policies? The guy who wants to continue the criminalization of drugs? Who wants to expand America's armies overseas?

How about someone who wants to increase liberty?

    2. Do you mean Ben Swann? I didn't think I'd vote again but I'd vote for him.

  4. Actually, Porter Stansberry of Stansberry Research also has hypothesized that somehow Obama will stay in power. Either Eric Holder or Moochelle the wookie are good guesses.

  5. Whoever runs, whoever wins, I predict that the power behind the power will remain in power.

    For now.

    1. Why don't they just run a horse's ass - the electorate would never notice the difference.

Oooops, Damn, that's already been done.

      By both parties.

      Several times.

      [Yeah, I know...]

  6. that is bonkers news if accurate because it would become a ginormous 3 ringed circus of crazytown ...in both parties. you could even see the John Edwards and other zombies. Michelle will get chopped down in that kind intra and supra party war. it would be a disaster for politics in general. I love it.

  7. For it to work, they would need to find an utterly disagreeable and repulsive Republican toady to put up in the masquerade we call a presidental "election".

    Jeb Bush anyone?

    1. Or Michelle Bachmann/Sarah Palin
They are going to need a woman to put up if the Dems have one.

Seems as if the Mayan Calendar may have predicted the end of the world a couple of years too early.

  8. This ain't Lurleen Wallace we're talking about.
The Dems are looking at Breakthrough for at least a 12 year run at the Presidency.
If it came down to this sad situation, it would mark the moment when the break-up of the US began.

In the streets stuff. Martial Law. Wars, foreign and domestic. I can see Hillary getting out but there would have to be someone completely vicious, with no scruples whatsoever to take her place.

I sincerely believe that the Repubs in the Beltway have NO IDEA what is happening. Or what is about to happen to them.

  9. I agree. I do not think Hillary is going to run and humiliate herself for the ego of Bill Clinton who she does not respect.

  10. If the GOP were smart--they are not--they would realize that this is the chance for someone like Pat Buchanan to win by a landslide. Instead the republicans will try timeout up their own milder Michelle Obama; someone who wants America to be destroyed within this century rather than destroy it this decade as the democrats are doing.
Thus the GOP will alienate the guys like me who would vote for them against Michelle Obama and they won't get the moderate votes because those people are happy to wear an "I voted for a black woman" badge.

    1. There isn't anybody anymore on the national political stage like Pat Buchanan. Rand Paul probably has similar personal views and attitudes, but his primary language is now Beltarian. The closest I can think of is Ted Cruz. The GOP would not take the risk of Cruz unless they can do to him what they did to Reagan, who was kept so far out of actual governance that he could plausibly keep talking like a minarchist firebrand while he was President of the United States.
