Dear Bob,
I have a new article today on the news and commentary website, "EpicTimes," on "The State of the Union Address Obama Should Deliver."
Tomorrow night, President Barack of Obama will deliver his State of the Union address, and no doubt present an agenda for even more political paternalism.
But suppose that he had an epiphany in support for a system of individual liberty, free markets, and limited government.
What might such a State of the Union address be like, if Obama had read and accepted the ideas in F. A. Hayek's "Road to Serfdom,' Henry Hazlitt's "Economics in One Lesson," Milton Friedman's "Free to Choose," and Ayn Rand's "Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal."
It is unlikely to be the substance of what he says tomorrow night, but suppose it was?
Best wishes,
Richard
How about just two words, no, make that one word.
