Ron Paul: We Live in a Police State, But It Will Crumble

During a recent Mises Institute Circle in Houston, Texas, Ron Paul spoke about the police state.

  1. Too bad there are so many idiots who didn't listen to this guy. Also, I'm not nearly as optimistic as Dr. Paul. Most people STILL love taking it up the rear from their masters in government. Their superstition and weak mindedness is pathetic.

    1. Haven't watched the video yet, but in reply to Mike, living in eastern MA I totally agree with his opinion. The number of Elizabeth Warren, Obama, and recently Hillary Clinton bumper stickers I see is appalling. Most people around here didn't have any problem with the complete citywide lockdown and military/police invasion after the marathon bombing. The Red Sox game following the military invasion was disgusting; there was a ceremony fit for an Egyptian pharoah for all the local police and military and people were really into it, gushing at how amazing the police were during the lockdown and how thankful they all were. It was really something to behold.

A lot of people around here LOOOVE Obama and Hillary and think they can do no wrong. It is mindboggling. Oh, and I also see a ton of "I love Obamacare" bumperstickers.

    2. Reminds me of that old Animals tune updated for 2014, "you gotta get out of that place..."

    3. To Anon 12:35 PM:

You are surrounded by fucking morons who apparently can't even tie their own shoelaces. They're pathetic little pussies beyond belief. They need mommy government to wipe their little asses. Disgusting.

  2. It sounds like "The Discourse of Voluntary Servitude" by Étienne de La Boétie is still in full effect...

  3. A nation of sheep will be hard to change for the better; but as Dr. Paul suggests an economic collapse will hasten the needed changes. Too bad the collapse is happening so slowly.
