Mets fans greeted Mayor de Blasio with hearty Bronx cheers on Monday, as he delivered the Amazins’ ceremonial first pitch on Opening Day.
Donning a pinstripe home white jersey and blue Mets cap over his dress pants, de Blasio was loudly booed twice by Flushing faithful — once as he was announced and then again as he left the Citi Field diamond. This should happen to all politicians.
See what happen to people when they have too big a cup of Pepsi!...See!
ReplyDeleteI like New York a lot more today than yesterday. Thank you New Yorkers. I feel you "boo" for all of us.
ReplyDeleteFight the power.
Flushing can forget about having their streets plowed next Winter. Might not even get their garbage picked up this Summer.
ReplyDeleteThat would be even better. Most of the booers are from Long Island and Westchester. Nothing like accelerating Nero's popularity plummet.
DeleteThey're booing him yet voted for him. Hello people! Stop voting for shithead statists and you won't have to suffer the crap they throw on you. Is this really so hard to understand?
ReplyDeleteYou should note also that De Blasio throws like a girl. Oops...that was a brutalist comment. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, here's a youtube link to the pitch: http://youtu.be/LIbMCzcPeZw

ReplyDeleteRace baiting sports reporter Andy Martino of the Daily News tries to make the booing a race issue.

For the record I'm a Mets fan
"Race baiting sports reporter Andy Martino of the Daily News tries to make the booing a race issue."
DeleteSigh....don't they always?
De Blasio is like Caligula or Nero: he enters into his imperium with massive popular approval, and quickly squanders it with arrogance, incompetence, and cruelty.
