Jesse Benton: We're Not 100% Done with Mr. Bevin

Jesse Benton, who has been media silent for sometime, has emerged from the shadows. Pure Politics reports:
Republican U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell’s campaign manager said GOP primary challenger Matt Bevin has been digging a deeper hole for himself when trying to explain a 2008 report he signed that praised the bank bailout.

And while Jesse Benton, McConnell’s manager, wouldn’t say whether this will be the focal point of an ad barrage against Bevin, he did say “we’re not 100 percent done with Mr. Bevin.”

In a tape reported conversation first posted here at EconomicPolicyJournal.com, Benton, Rand Paul's nephew, claimed hehas  held his nose while working for McConnell (See: Jesse Benton on Mitch McConnell: "I'm sorta holding my nose for 2 years")

  1. I don't understand how Americans trick themselves into voting for any of these snakes

  2. Fortunately, Rand Paul and McConnell do a whole lot less principle-breaking.
Who is Benton trying to fool into voting for McConnell anyway? People who would prefer Bevin over McConnell are never going to change their minds. And those who want to vote for McConnell don't need convincing because they don't have brains in the first place.

Anyway, it's instructive to see Benton, the buddy of Rand and Mitch, goes full blown after the much more freedom oriented candidate in defense of the neocon. Just in case we didn't see how much of an unprincipled P.O.S. Benton really is.
