Lew Plotting in the Thick of the Ukranian Crisis

The Treasury has announced that on Monday, April 14, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew will meet with Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak. According to the Treasury, they will discuss the ongoing situation in Ukraine and the United States’ pledge of support for a $1 billion loan guarantee that, in conjunction with the International Monetary Fund program, will help put Ukraine on the path to economic recovery.
