  2. It's so refreshing to see a member of the establishment fight the ridiculous prevailing nonsense our crybaby nation holds up as the racial standard. I've often wondered if most black people really give a shit or if the all the outrage is completely contrived. I've wondered the same thing about all cause-heads. Apparently they do care because many of his friends lambasted him for his statements. I was never a big fan of Stephen A. Smith, but now I'll give him another look. Good form.

  3. Smith was good here, but I doubt it will make a difference. Check the comments on for the video on You Tube. At this time it is only around a dozen, but it looks like he didn't convince his skeptics. What a shame.

  4. I'm very sorry to say this but he'll probably end up fired over this whether it is the stated cause or not. Or he will be forced to quit for "personal reasons". Remember what happened to Juan Williams.

  5. From one Black man to another I say: Amen!!! If people (some Black folks especially) took time to read Uncle Tom's Cabin, they would discover that "Uncle Tom" was an outstandingly positive character. One to be admired, not ridiculed and denigrated. Therefore, I take the instances that I've been called a "Tom" as a compliment.

When you add this to the collective pot of Blacks speaking on things like this (words of Thomas Sowell, words of Walter Williams, etc.) it will produce some good. Maybe not a whole lot initially, but good will come, that is to say, exposing as frauds race hustlers and those who don't have the capacity for critical or even common sense thinking.

  6. Smith made sure to keep it real by using approved sloppy diction. And unfortunately one has to ask, is his story one that Affirmative Action made possible, because other than that I wasn't impressed - unless he was speaking down, but normally has the articulate clipped professional newscaster pronunciation.

And where's Larry Elder on this, the long time conservative black commentator that has had to put up with what Smith is hearing for the first time? Be interesting to see Smith's story changes if he loses his job. But he's sure coming out of the gate hard. Hammer down pal and take advantage of your "privilege" since the rest of us are busy checking ours.

Likewise no mention of Mr. "Hymietown" Jessie Jackson who could admit to feeling relieved it wasn't young black males behind him on a sidewalk. Cuban? Not so much.

But hey, lynching white folks is more fun y'all.
Everybody ought to try it at least once, even if it's the lifetime occupation of the guilty white liberals.

  7. Smith is another idiot leftist who makes a career of yelling over anyone he debates and creating attention for himself. This is classic broken clock. they're right twice a day. It will be interesting if leftist ESPN fires smith, however they did fire another race baiter of theirs in Rob Parker when he question Robert Griffin 3rd's "blackness" (whatever the hell that means) a few years ago.

  8. Smith said a great piece, but why does this truth-telling have to come from a sports figure today? I am not taking away from Stephen, His piece was from the heart and nailed tons of key points, but building on his words, I am saying STOP looking to others opinions to adopt as your own.. THINK for yourselves... we are letting business entities and celebrities control our thought patterns... think about how the media always jumps on these things that divide us.. you may agree it is true. We need to instead think about REAL things, like how to have freedom in an increasingly corporate society. We should reject the race-hustlers and those who divide to make a name for themselves.
