TMZ Edited Out Sterling's Comments about Racism in Israel

A very curious editing of the Donald Sterling tape that appeared at TMZ was conducted. The entire tape as posted by TMZ is here. Harvey Levin, who is Jewish, is the creator and managing editor of TMZ.com.

The TMZ version of the tape edits out Sterling's discussion of how blacks are treated in Israel. If the tape was truly about the exposure of racism, Sterling's comments about what goes on in Israel are certainly newsworthy.

Deadspin later posted an extended version of the tape, which included the section edited out by TMZ.

This is how the Times of Israel reported news of the extended tape:
An extended recording of racist remarks allegedly made by the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers was published Sunday by the website Deadspin, showing Donald Sterling making additional inflammatory remarks that were not in the original recording released Saturday .

“It’s the world! You go to Israel, the blacks are just treated like dogs,” Sterling allegedly says on the extended recording.

“The white Jews, there’s white Jews and black Jews, do you understand?”

His girlfriend, known only as V. Stiviano, asks him, “And are the black Jews less than the white Jews?”

“A hundred percent, fifty, a hundred percent…” the man in the recording, said to be Sterling, says. “It isn’t a question—we don’t evaluate what’s right and wrong, we live in a society. We live in a culture. We have to live within that culture.”

Here's how the Jewish Daily Forward reported on the extended tape:
In the new, 15-minute tape released Sunday by the U.S. website Deadspin, Sterling, 80, is heard telling Stiviano, 38, “You think I’m a racist …” which Stiviano denies. He insists that that’s what she thinks, that he has an “evil heart,” to which she replies, “I don’t think so. I think you have an amazing heart, honey, I think the people around you have poison mind, and have a way of thinking.”
At that point Sterling - born to American Jewish immigrant parents as Donald Tokowitz – seemingly tries to defend his views by putting them in an international context, singling out how blacks are treated in Israel.
Sterling: “It’s the world! You go to Israel, the blacks are just treated like dogs.”
Stiviano: “So you have to treat them like that too?”
Sterling: “The white Jews, there’s white Jews and black Jews, do you understand?”
Stiviano: “Are are the black Jews less than the white Jews?”
Sterling: “A hundred percent, fifty, a hundred percent.”
Stiviano: “And is that right?”
Sterling: “It isn’t a question – we don’t evaluate what’s right and wrong, we live in a society. We live in a culture. We have to live within that culture.”

Was TMZ's Levin, someone else at TMZ, or someone else in the chain of command of the tape given to TMZ, standing with Rand Paul and protecting Israel and insuring the brouhaha of the released tapes wouldn't go beyond Sterling?

  1. I think the only reason Deadspin (a site run by a bunch of Obama loving liberals or as Tom Woods calls them Obamunists) released the full audio is because their on and off again war with TMZ (who are also run by a bunch of liberals).

    1. As Lew Rockwell pointed out: "Marxists were notorious for infighting over the most trivial differences."

It would appear the "infighting" continues.

    2. Yea that would describe their war perfectly and try to debate whoever runs Deadspin's twitter account they either swear at you, call you names or block you just like any other left-statist. Granted right-statists do it too just with different insults.

  2. Bob, I really love EPJ and I agree with you almost all of the time. But I don't think it was necessary to drag Rand's name into this story. I have my own issues with Rand (as you do) but he had nothing to do with this.

    1. Rand needs to be brought into the mix because he plays to this group of powerful Zionists in his quest to be POTUS.

Notice the discussion Tokowitz and his bimbo are having is about Jews and their color.
It is accepted that non Jews are not allowed to live in Israel.

This is the result of many decades of brainwashing Americans by the powerful Zionists that Rand is playing to.

  3. The media...Jewish... favoring Israel? I for one resent these odious questions which are tinged with anti-Semitism. Wenzel, you should be ashamed of yourself, especially less than 100 years after the Holocaust!

    1. Shut up. The truth is the truth. Censoring truth to protect racists who are Jews is the reason Sterling wasn't called out until now! That, and people like you, are part of the problem.

  4. Tinged with anti-semitism? That rationale is apparently why Sterling was able to get away with this stuff for so many years. Levin excising the tape to protect his own ethnicity is wrong for the same reasons Catholics covering up for priests was wrong. shame on Levin and thanks for writing this story.
