Carville: Hillary Will Run (and Win)

“I think she’s going to run,” Carville said Sunday on 970 AM radio’s “The Answer with John Catsimatidis.”

“No one has told me, let me be clear. [But] usually when someone runs for president once, they do it again.”

Carville said Clinton will win the White House this time after losing the Democratic primary to President Obama in 2008.

“I don’t think any of them can beat Hillary,” he said of both potential Republican and Democratic rivals.

“You look at Democrats across the board, they are very happy with Hillary. Certainly, the Democratic voter is very happy and content for her to be our party’s nominee.”

  1. Billary or Warren. Yuck what a choice.

  2. Given the undeniable attraction people have to identity politics, I'm sure we'll have to endure a female psychopath after a string of failed male counterparts.

What's next? A transvestite? A cripple? Maybe a gay native American would fit the bill.

Once we've demonstrated that group identity does not translate into competent governance, we'll stumble across a candidate that understands and respects constitutional limits on political power. Or maybe a collapse in the dollar will do the trick.

Any way you look at it, our political process is completely dysfunctional. Time to hit the reset button.
