Chris Rock Defends Donald Sterling at BET Awards

Mediaite reports:
Chris Rock hosted the BET Awards Sunday night, or as he called it the “black World Cup,” and during his opening monologue he reviewed the biggest moments in black entertainment culture over the last year. There were jokes about Apple acquiring Dr. Dre’s Beats company, Kevin Hart’s prolific film career and Scandal’s secret appeal to white people. But the biggest black news of the year, according to Rock, were the revelations about racist L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling...

Rock said he didn’t want to “defend” Donald Sterling, but proceeded to do just that by breaking down exactly what the embattled billionaire was caught on tape saying.

“What did he say? ‘I don’t want my woman around black basketball players.’ Me neither! Are you kidding me?” Rock said. “Who the hell wants their woman around black basketball players?”...
Clutch Magazine continues the Rock monologue:
Who in the hell wants their woman around black basketball players and I’m specific about black ball players. I don’t care if my woman’s with (white players) J. J. Redick, Mike Dunleavy, David Lee, but if I see you with Serge Ibaka we gotta talk.”

  1. These are works of art. If you have an idea in mind, crystal corporate awards Jesse can do it. I invite you to stop by UT Law and check them out (in the hallway by the alumni relations office), then give Jesse a call.
