The Greatest Predictors on People's Presidential Vote

Harry Enten at FiveThrtyEight.com discusses the 2012 presidential election:
As in 2008, being African-American had the greatest effect on someone’s vote. Even if all other variables predicted a Republican voter, being African-American meant you were 78 percent likely to vote for Obama. Being nonheterosexual or Hispanic had the next greatest effect in favor of voting for Obama. A born-again Christian or a weekly churchgoer were more likely to vote Republican.

  1. Wasn't there some poll that came out early in the Obama presidency stating that he literally had a 100% approval rating among blacks?

  2. Shocker- ages 18-29 were not likely to vote for this man a second time.

I take that as good news, my age group is paying attention.
