A Black Man's Perspective on Urban Primitivism

Johnathan Gentry's view:

SEE: Urban Primitivism and The Violent Oppressive State: Lessons from the Ferguson, MO Unrest

  1. I laughed. Then cried. Then laughed again. Rinse. Repeat.

    Powerful video, RW.

"We shall overcome?" "Let's get to overcoming!"

    1. I did chuckle myself but the guy is pretty much right.

  2. Long-winded way of suggesting that people need to focus on taking care of business in their own backyard. But I can certainly support that idea. Reminds me of the Wizard of Oz. After the heroine survives a series of fantastic adventures she comes to the realization that "if you can't find your hearts desire in your own backyard, you probably never lost it in the first place." Unfortunately people seem to forget or mis-understand this part of the movie and may not accept Mr. Gentry's view. But its a message that's worth repeating.
