The political funnyman and social critic just sold his sprawling downtown duplex penthouse at 161 Hudson St., on the eighth and ninth floors, in what appears to be an off-market deal for $17.5 million...I doubt he knows that he should thank Janet Yellen.
He bought the 6,000-square-foot apartment for $4.5 million in 2005.
