The Amazing Oil Shale Production Boom in One Chart

The combined oil production in America’s three largest multimillion-barrels-per-day oil fields (Bakken in North Dakota, and Eagle Ford and Permian Basin in Texas) at almost 5 million barrels per day, now exceeds the entire national oil production of both Canada (as of April) and China (as of July).

Too bad it won't last.
