Gary North on the $5 Million Bitcoin Heist at Bitstamp

Bitstamp has apparently suffered from a hack attack SEE:BREAKING Bitstamp Service Temporarily Suspended, or maybe not SEE Is the Bitstamp Suspension More Than a Hack Problem?

Whatever the details, Gary North comments:
Slovenia?  Americans trusted their money to computers nerds in Slovenia?
The bloom is off Bitcoin’s rose. Soon, only the thorns will remain.
This is a plaything of computer nerds. Computer nerds don’t have much money.
Now they have less.

  2. Also, computer nerda don't have much money? What planet is this guy on? Computer nerds are the new oil barons. Gates, Jobs, Zuckerberg. There is a ton of money to be made, if you're a compute nerd.

    Unbelievable.

    1. The "computer nerds" that obsess about Bitcon most definitely don't have money.

The more Dr. North is correct, the more the true-believers gnash their teeth.

    2. Who's responsible for the $50 million dollar bitcoin transfers?

North's put his stake in the sand based on his interpretation of mises/rothbard. If he's correct, he looks like a genius. If he isn't, others have already explained a way out of the incorrectness.
