Jobs and Wages Grew in Nearly Every Large U.S. County in 2014

Here's more evidence we are in the boom phase of the boom-bust business cycle.

Employment and wages grew in the vast majority of large U.S counties last year, underscoring the job market’s momentum through much of 2014.

More than 94% of large U.S. counties reported employment gains through December compared with a year earlier, and 98% saw average weekly wages increase, the Labor Department said today.

The average weekly wage in the U.S. increased 3.5% last year, growing to $1,035 by the end of 2014.
