Senate Passes Fast Track Trade Bill

The legislation, passed 60-38, will give President. Obama “fast track” authority that allows him to submit trade deals to Congress for an up-or-down vote without amendments.

Already approved by the House, the bill now heads to the White House

This is a major step in completing the 12-nation trade deal with countries around the Pacific Ocean, known as the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

This legislation will lead to even more interventionists economics. In conjunction, the Senate is also expected to later pass legislation extending help for workers hurt by international trade.

Real free trade, could began and end with this statement:
The United States of America is open to trade with all countries. We will not in any way impose tariffs or otherwise impede trade.
Anything beyond this statement is cronyism of some sort.
