So what? Words will not save us from our own short sighted and thieving selves. The most powerful movement away from statism and toward individual freedom was motivated by the disaster of the action by Mao and his followers in China. Humans must take action or perish. And it seems only the threat of perishing and the pain of suffering can motivate action toward individual liberty
