The Federal Election Commission has released online the financial report recently filed by Donald Trump.
The remarkable statement is 92 pages long and lists thousands of assets held by the multi-billionaire. The statement includes the listing of the extensive stock portfolio held by Trump. The lists of his positions include stock in Goldman Sachs and Halliburton.
Although, there is no indication that Trump is anywhere near a gold bug, he does hold a couple of minor gold positions.
According to the filing, he holds:
Between $15,000 and $50,000 worth of Barrick Gold stock.
Between $100,000 and $250,000 worth of Gamco Global Gold shares (A Gabelli closed end fund.)
Given the magnitude of his wealth, I would say that Trump has a near zero interest in gold.
