I don't know if you're aware, it's a bit of a pop culture reference, from the movie "There will be blood", where Daniel Day-Lewis (he received several awards for his role in the movie) destroys a rival verbally(at first, then kills him later).
He destroys him verbally(before physically) in a brutal but also somewhat comical fashion(if you have a dark sense of humor)- it's hard to fully explain, even by the clip I'll post below- because there's so much plot surrounding it. Despite Plainview becoming a monster, the subject of his wrath/revenge(Eli) is a corrupt minister....so it's almost like two scorpions in a bottle, with one dominating the other.
Anyway, it's an interesting movie loosely based on "Oil!" by Upton Sinclair who at times obviously had anti-capitalist themes...but the characters are interesting and have good depth:
