Victim taken out on a stretcher.

Police say situation contained.

Security guard shot suspect who stabbed his girlfriend in Union Station.

UPDATE 7

Lt. Sean Conboy, a police spokesman, said both of the wounded people were conscious and breathing and were being treated. The circumstances of the altercation that occurred before 1 p.m. were not immediately known. It could not be determined if the two people knew each other.
