  1. As that the debate for medallion is dying down, the the left want to crucify Uber because no one is allowed to be successful without their wagging finger.

    1. What kills me about the Left is how they bitch, whine, and complain about how hard it is for the poor then they turn around and back the very policies that cartelize the system which make it more expensive. Talk about stupidity.

  2. When competition is allowed, the consumer will pick the competitor over the government privileged provider. That's not a surprise.

The real question that everyone should be asking is-- why did the government allow Uber to break all the laws and regulations?

    1. Hopefully the government 'allowed' it because the leviathan has become so bloated with graft and apparatchik incompetence that its vast and seemingly ubiquitous tendrils can no longer seize upon the exponentially innovative power of ideas.

    2. Give it time. Government is like an elephant. It is very sluggish to adapt, but when it finally steps down it is crushing. The taxi industry started out unregulated just like uber, just like railroads, bitcoin, the car industry, etc. Eventually, they always catch up.

  3. In Chicago, Uber offers opportunity to drive a cab to those who the medallion system was designed to keep out. Black men.
