Net Worth of Individual Adults, by European Country

(via NinjaEconomics)

Here's a map to help you identify the countries.

Note well that tiny little country in the middle of the map, with no natural resources that doesn't get involved in foreign wars and other people's affairs, but has a staggering per person wealth of $567.000

  1. Looks like Merkel is getting her way with Germany...

  2. Great graphic, I too noticed that Switzerland had the highest average wealth. Too bad the neocons and cuckservatives couldn't take this to heart.

  3. This tiny little country also has a "centrally planned" immigration policy.
They are not overrun with useless 3rd worlders and they are getting tougher on immigration and Muslims.

  4. Poor Ukraine... literally. It can't catch a break, like those former Soviet Bloc countries fortunate to border rich countries with which to trade.

    1. Like ol' Bob Dylan sang: "Only a Pawn in their Game".

    2. Ukraine started in the same place as Russia when the USSR broke up (in fact, it had better industrial base, and has nice agricultural land). That wealth discrepancy explains everything you need to know about why people of Crimea bolted to Russia at the very first opportunity they had.

  5. That little country with all that money also has an automatic weapon in every closet.

    1. Some have rocket propelled grenades too, but they all come with a seal that the citizen is only allowed to break under order from the government/army. The Swiss value liberty, but they are not libertarian. They are communitarian.

  6. It is true that Switzerland is very wealthy. Things are also exhorbantly expensive there. It is the tax-shelter for the world and due to high concentration of wealth, people there are wealthier. But I dont' think it's comparable to the rest of the world? They are an amazing country with great values as mentioned above. But I think there's more factors that go into their wealth and expecting any other country to compete, would be tough.
