  1. The threat of a credit bubble is deflation.

  2. Deflation is possible, true, but in my view it's unlikely given the nature of the corporatist cartel in control of the world's reserve currency.

    With this lot the only probable threat of a credit bubble is currency hyper-inflation. The supply of electronic fiat currency units is theoretically infinite, and the cartel will create as many units as necessary for as long as possible to delay the inevitable catastrophe. Of course their stop-gap solution contains the very seeds of its own destruction.

    Expert commentary notwithstanding, when this might happen no one can predict with precise accuracy.
