Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin said Thursday at a speech before the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce that he has had budget requests for an extra $2.1 billion in state spending over the next two years before vowing he would not approve it.
He also said that steep spending cuts were coming.
Bevin is scheduled to deliver his budget next week Tuesday. It should be interesting to see. Will he show other governors what spending cuts are really like?
