HEROIC Austrian Deputy Economy Minister: Constitutional Right to Pay in Cash

Harald Mahrer

By Robert Wenzel

There is a vicious attack on cash coming from banksters and governments. I consider it one of the most dangerous and evil expansions of the state possible. A non-cash society means a society that is completely trackable by the state. The state would be able to see everything you buy, everywhere you go. It is the ultimate in totalitarian monitoring.

If there is one area where immediate focus should be placed to stop the expansion of the state, it is in this area of attempting to abolish cash.

Enter the heroic Austrian Deputy Economy Minister Harald Mahrer.

“We don’t want someone to be able to track digitally what we buy, eat and drink, what books we read and what movies we watch,” Mahrer said on Austrian public radio station Oe1. “We will fight everywhere against rules” including caps on cash purchases, he said.

Reports Bloomberg:
EU finance ministers vowed at a meeting in Brussels on Friday to crack down on “illicit cash movements.” They urged the European Commission, the EU’s executive arm, to “explore the need for appropriate restrictions on cash payments exceeding certain thresholds and to engage with the European Central Bank to consider appropriate measures regarding high denomination notes, in particular the 500-euro note.”
Ministers told the commission to report on its findings by May 1.

Mahrer clearly understands the danger of a cashless society and, as far as I know, is the only government official anywhere on the globe to warn of this great danger.

  1. It also makes it easier for the state and it's banks to steal from you (taxes, fees, negative interest rates, bail-ins, etc.). If you then try to escape by purchasing property, they will track and tax those purchases. If they suspect you are trying to avoid their efforts to raise revenues, then you will be outed as a kulak and dumped in the gulag where you will die alone and afraid knowing that only Big Brother loved you.
