Highest Shelter Inflation Since September 2007

There is no price inflation if you are homeless.

On the other hand, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that  the  shelter index increased 0.4 percent in May, its largest advance since  February 2007. 

The rent index rose 0.4 percent, while the index for owners'  equivalent rent increased 0.3 percent.
