Jack Lew to Speak at Group Headed by Clinton Adviser Who Is 'Wary of the Growing Economic Populism'

Thursday morning, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew will deliver remarks at the Center for American Progress. According to the Treasury, it will be "to highlight the impact of Treasury's State Small Business Credit Initiative and the Small Business Lending Fund on supporting small businesses."

The Center for American Progress is headed by Neera Tanden, who in an email exchange with Clinton campaign manager John Podesta that was leaked by Wikileaks said, "I'm wary of the growing economic populism..."

She advised that Hillary call for a Financial Transaction Tax as a bone to throw to the masses.
