Theresa May: Britain Will Officially Declare It Has Split From the EU by the End of March 2017

British Prime Minister Theresa May has just stated, "We will invoke Article 50 by the end of March next year. It's not up to the Commons or the Lords. It's the Government alone."

Article 50 is the Article by which Britain will formally announce its break with the European Union.
