The British Establishment Makes Its Move: British Court Deals Major Blow to Government’s Brexit Plans

The British government must consult Parliament before proceeding with formal negotiations over its withdrawal from the European Union, the High Court ruled today.

Now it gets very tricky. According to The New York Times, the decision could be appealed or referred to the European Court of Justice, an institution that is actually opposed to by those who argue for Britain to leave the EU.

Prime Minister Theresa May, herself, believes she has the right to move ahead without parliamentary approval by using royal prerogative powers that, in modern times, are exercised by the government, not the monarch.

    1. No, it's called non violent, non cooperation. I would think the European Union would be easy to not comply with, other than the "free movement of people" which is what the people really voted against.
