BREAKING California Orders Uber to Take Driverless Cars Off the Road

Less than 24 hours after Uber announced it had put driverless cars on the road in San Francisco (with emergency drivers sitting at the wheel),  the long arm of the State of California has ordered the free market venture to come to a full stop until the company goes through the bureaucratic maze of getting a state permit.

Once again supporting the Andrew Galambos adage that a traffic jam is the free market coming up against government roads.

Ultimately, driverless cars are expected to reduce travel time, lessen traffic jams and reduce accidents.
