What to Do If You Live in an Area With a High Minimum Wage

If you are a low productivity worker in an area where the minimum wage is high, your only chance for employment may be in the off-the-books, underground market.

That is (and Austrian-lites will have hemorrhage over this point), a high minimum wage will result in more black market employment which will distort the unemployment rate, making it appear higher than it actually is.

Raising the #minimumwage doesn't increase your wage, it only raises the bar for the value you must create when working to keep your job.
