Mexico Warns Its Citizens in US to "Take Precautions"

Mexico has just issued a warning to its citizens living in the United States to "take precautions" and remain in contact with consular officials a day after the deportation of an undocumented mother following a routine visit with US immigration authorities.

Guadalupe Garcia de Rayos, 35, was deported Thursday after she checked in with the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in Phoenix a day earlier. (SEE: The Deportation of the Hardworking Undocumented Begins)

"The case involving Mrs. Garcia de Rayos illustrates a new reality for the Mexican community living in the United States, facing the most severe implementation of immigration control measures," Mexico's Foreign Ministry said in a statement Friday.

Mexican consulates "have intensified their work of protecting fellow nationals, foreseeing more severe immigration measures to be implemented by the authorities of this country, and possible violations to constitutional precepts during such operations and problems with due process," the statement said.

The Mexican Foreign Ministry statement said, "It is important that fellow nationals familiarize themselves with the different scenarios they might encounter and know where they can go to receive new information and know all their rights."

El Señor Presidente Bananero Trumpo jumped the gun stupidly. Trumpistas are making this issue much worse just to fuel their bigotry.

    1. Francisco, in a PPS wouldn't each community decide to control it's immigration?

    2. How am I a bigot to kick out the damn illegals immigrants? Please enlighten us Senor Torres. Mexico deports thousands back to their home countries every year, yet somehow, only Trump is 'da rasis' to call for this very reasonable policy. And let us not mention that Mexico's elite is pretty damn white.

I agree that this story should not have gotten the attention it did since others will now hide in the shadows. What really annoys none of the libtards will adopt one of these precious creatures and sponsor it to become a citizen. No, we should just hand citizenship over like one would a cheap towel.

Cesar Chavez, a 60's and 70's labor leader of migrant workers, did not care for illegal immigration. Does he get to have 'da rasis' creds assigned to?

Watch the video at the Youtube link. Maybe leftist can visit this Mexican citizen and explain how his views are those of a 'da rasis'. These Africans just want a better opportunity; no way would they bring any undesirable social pathologies to America.

    3. An immigrant is only "illegal" because the state has deemed him so. Since the state has no legitimacy, neither do its edicts. To the libertarian, an immigrant, like any domestic person, only commits a wrong if he initiates force against another person's body or legitimate property. So an immigrant who is granted consent to be on someone else's property is doing nothing wrong by coming or being there (the same is true for a domestic person). Just because you don't want A to be on B's land doesn't mean A is doing anything wrong. You are free to keep A off your own land.

The only beings of will that step on this good earth are individual humans, PH. Not communities. Consider the following: Wouldn't the same power of decision that you want to assign to communities to control immigration be used to control emigration as well? What you describe is a recipe for tyranny.

It's actually pretty simple, TLM. There's really no valid reason to "kick out" immigrants. These are individuals doing their own thing just like everybody else. Rationally, their activities are no different than the activities of others. The difference between undocumented immigrants and other people is precisely the documents issued by the state. Since no rationality exists behind the desire to purge these individuals, then the motivation must be purely psychological.

Most union thugs are chauvinistic. So? Why do Trumpistas love to throw red herrings like chimps throwing their own poop?

    6. @PH

In a free society, a "community" would only have veto power over the peaceful use of someone's private property if that property owner voluntarily ceded that power to the community (as in a "covenant community" or voluntary commune.)

I have no doubt that such arrangements would exist in a free society. I seriously doubt that, without using the state, it would be feasible to create a continent-sized zone that, as a matter of policy, excludes 95% of the world's population.

  2. No problem when a foreign government intervenes in domestic affairs, right?

The illegal immigrants are HUGE violators of the NAP by their mere presence.

Yes, it is a problem. Your point following that is nonsense:

---The illegal immigrants are HUGE violators of the NAP by their mere presence.---

Immigrants are NOT agents of the governments in their country of origin. They're individual humans of will just like all other humans. What you imply is nonsense. It is also a complete misrepresentation of the NAP.
