Christine Lagarde Give Trump a Chance (To Become a Good Crony at the Table)

In an apparent reference to President Donald Trump, International Monetary Fund chief Christine Lagarde told a group on Thursday at an event in Frankfurt shortly before attending a meeting of G20 financial leaders:
We should give people who are coming to a new position without a lot of experience, or a little bit of outdated experience, the time to adjust.
Clearly they are starting from a domestic agenda and I think it's our collective duty to identify what is the respective collective agenda of each player around the table.
This will be fun. I don't think Trump recognizes a collective duty or collective agenda which is good but, of course, Trump's agenda is an incoherent protectionist agenda.
