He wants to replace the Obamacare disaster with his own disaster. But I am sure most libertarian Trump fanboys will excuse this life expectancy lowering effort. Hey. it's the Great Trump and we all outlived David Rockefeller.

Got to call a spade a spade. I thought Trump was setting Ryan up for a big embarrassing failure but that is not how Obamacare 1.5 has played out. Instead it seems like Trump is pushing this bill just to say he killed Obamacare, the kind of move you'd expect from any run of the mill politician.
ReplyDeleteFor libertarians like myself - those who don't expect Trump to restore the gold standard, abolish the IRS, close foreign military bases, end mass surveillance and the war on drugs, but still hope for him to be both better than and hostile toward the established order - that should give us pause.
There is still a lot to like about what Trump's done from a libertarian perspective. Next to none of it is not policy related, however.
I knew he was going to be horrible on heath care. Eventually it will be one big VA hospital.
