This might just be enough to bury the horrific Republican healthcare bill now floating around in the Senate.
Tim Phillips, the president of the Koch brothers-funded Americans For Prosperity, told reporters that they are "disappointed that movement has not been more dramatic toward a full repeal or a broader rollback of this law, ObamaCare.”
Senator Rand Paul will probably stand strong against the bill and only two more Republican senators are needed to join him and the bill will not pass, since the 48 Democrats in the Senate will vote against the bill,
Of course, the Kochs, at best, are libertarian-lites, so the best we can hope from them is the occasional obstruction of a bad bill and not full out support for a free market position.
It should be noted that Phillips went on to say, "This Senate bill needs to get better. It has to get better."
But what does this "getting better" of the bill mean? He called for "reforming" the bill.
There should be no central planning in healthcare, which is what Obamacare and the GOP plan are.
Central planning only makes a sector less efficient and less innovative and sets up an opportunity for the sector to become more vulnerable to crony operators. In other words, it slows productivity gains in an area one would think it is particularly heinous to do so.
Obamacare should be repealed without reform if we want advances in productivity in the sector.
Bottom line: Government involvement in the healthcare system kills people---a lot more than terrorists do.

Compared with Obamacare, the R bill cuts govt spending by 800m and abolishes all the Obamacare taxes. Its in the direction of liberty.
