President Donald Trump's penchant for making atypical appointments might have some on Wall Street worrying about what could happen if and when it comes time to pick a new head of the Federal Reserve...
Soon after Trump's election, J.W. Verret, associate professor of law at George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School, told Politico that [Steve] Moore was on his wish list for Trump's Fed governorship picks, alongside [David] Malpass, Trump economic adviser Judy Shelton and conservative economic commentator Larry Kudlow.
Here's my list of atypicals that Trump should consider to head the Fed:
Murray Sabrin
Joe Salerno
Chris Rossini
Gary North
Tom Woods
Walter Block
Janet Yellen's term as Fed chair ends on January 31, 2018.

What do you think about Ron Paul's pick, Jim Grant?
ReplyDeleteI vote block, but then I always choose him or Hopper for most things.
ReplyDeleteDennis Hopper would be interesting
