The Donald's right. Puerto Rico's in "big water" with regular hurricanes. It should have prepared, but its politicians bankrupted the place.— David Stockman (@DA_Stockman) September 30, 2017

ReplyDeleteWell, yeah, just look. They completely destroyed Puerto Rico's economy in only 7 months!
DeleteI'm looking forward to hearing from Peter Schiff on the latest in Puerto Rico. He boosts the tax advantage of living there but I wonder how much the supposed "no electricity" counter-balances that.
ReplyDeleteDorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto rico is where Schiff lives.
In a word yes, socialism all it does is destroy.
ReplyDeleteYep. The reason I left in 1984. I saw no future economically nor politically. PR gov has attempted to bring foreign investment with tax breaks, which is good, but no breaks for local businesses. None. That is why there is/was a huge underground economy. Unfortunately, most of it based on consumables and no capital savings.
