Former Treasury Secretary Jack Lew Takes a Job on Wall Street
Imagine my surprise.
Jack Lew, the former US Treasury Secretary under President Obama, is taking a job at
a private equity firm on Wall Street.
He starts Monday as a partner at Lindsay Goldberg, a New York-based firm which specializes in investments in family-owned companies.
In making the move, Lew joins Timothy Geithner, the 75th Treasury Secretary from 2009 to 2013, on Wall Street. Geitner is president and managing director of Warburg Pincus.
“We are honored to have Jack join Lindsay Goldberg and look forward to his playing a key role across all facets of our firm,” Alan Goldberg, co-founder and CEO of Lindsay Goldberg said in a statement.

Well at least we know for sure that Geithner can help his clients with tax evasion.
