Thoughts on Fascism

  1. The German National Socialist government might be described as military Keynesianism and did not practice inflation for its own sake as Neo-Keynesians do.
Italian corporatavism was largely imaginary. The economy under Mussolini differed little from the previous interventionist Italian liberal monarchy.

  2. As usual, one can learn a lot from listening to Raico. It's hard to distinguish modern America from the two characteristics of fascism he noted near the end, namely, intense militarism, and the so-called "third way," whereby private property is respected in form but decimated by the state in substance.
