The Bubble Killer Has Withdrawn His Name From Consideration as Federal Reserve Vice-Chairman
This is big.
CNBC is reporting that Larry Lindsey has withdrawn from consideration to be chosen as Federal Reserve vice chairman.
As I have reported at EPJ previously, Lindsey is a bubble buster and would have been a major influence toward aggressive rate hikes by the Federal Reserve. With him as vice-president, the current Fed-created economic boom would have ended sooner rather than later.
The now apparent top candidate for the vice-chairmanship is San Francisco Fed president John Williams, who is in favor of mad money printing, the direct opposite policy perspective of Lindsey.

Too bad it's not John Williams from Shadow Stats. At this point, John Williams the composer would be a better choice.
