Facebook is a corporate monster with big expansion plans.
Facebook recently filed building permit applications for a building valued around $300 million. Another construction permit comes in at $303 million.
The $303 million project is for a four-story office building in Menlo Park (MPK22). The $300 million project (MPK21) is an extension to a completed office building known as MPK 20.
According to the Santa Cruz Sentinel, Facebook is undertaking expansions that will establish major footprints for the company in other California cities as well: Sunnyvale, San Francisco, Mountain View and Fremont.
Facebook has leased, or agreed to rent large offices in San Francisco, Mountain View and Fremont. These Facebook deals include the entire 750,000-square-foot Park Tower in San Francisco, a 200,000-square-foot office building in the Village at San Antonio complex in Mountain View, and two Fremont office buildings totaling 190,000 square feet.
