The elements were the result of a mix of all different types of entrepreneurs doing their thing, a remarkable mix of creativity, energy and awareness, and socialist central planning would by definition replace this magic with committees and bureaucracy.
Does Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have such a big problem with the bodega iced cafecito that she wants it stopped and re-engineered by a central committee?

Oh yeah, she understands it, she just wants to "tweak" it, and "take from the rich and give to the poor" so that all may enjoy the bodega. Olé!
ReplyDeleteSocialists are either stupid (managing not to notice millions left dead in the wake of various socialist regimes requires advanced stupidity) or psychopaths who understand perfectly well the murderous nature of socialism but see pushing this creed as their personal ticket to power. She doesn't look stupid. Which means she cannot be converted - socialism is her carefully chosen strategy, not a belief. Don't waste your time. I've seen exactly this type many times before - they were ardent Communists under the USSR and now are stalwart crony capitalists and demonstratively observant Christians.
