BREAKING: Trump's New Trade Deal Won't Get a Vote in Congress This Year

President Donald Trump’s renegotiated trade deal with Mexico and Canada won’t get a vote in Congress this year, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said, reports Bloomberg.

There are serious procedural problems.

“My trade advisers say you can’t possibly do it under the various steps that we have to go through. I had not heard that it might be possible to address it this year,” McConnell said in an interview with Bloomberg News Tuesday in Washington D.C.

And, of course, next year Democrats might be running the House.
