Socialists have a problem. Everywhere central planning has been tried, it has failed.

Bernie Sanders understood this a decade before the Soviet Union collapsed. In the clip below from 1981 (at approx. the 3:10 mark), he attempts to distance himself from Soviet socialism.




But there is no significant difference between socialism and "democratic" socialism.
